David-James LLC

For the summers of 2014 and 2015, I had the opportunity to work at a small accounting business in Maryland called David-James LLC as a secretary.  During my time at this firm, I was able to gain experiences including the responsibility of organization skills while sorting files and papers, building trust and handling confidential information of clients and co-workers, and communicating with clients through the phone in a professional way.  As I sat in on important meetings and conferences, I was able to observe Certified Public Accountants work and consult with one another and their clients.  This helped me to learn skills such as the importance of time efficiency with making deadlines, paying attention to detail, and problem-solving.
