I am currently a sophomore and have played intramural both this year and last. Since I was young, I have always had a passion for soccer. I was a three-year varsity soccer letterman in high school and I also played for Everton America FC in the Connecticut Club Soccer League and in the New York Club Soccer League from 2009 to 2015.
Throughout high school, I participated in my parish’s Emmaus Religious Retreat. I began as a candidate on the retreat, worked on 4 additional retreats, and ended up being chosen out of around 200 teens to lead one of six tables; guiding and working with candidates along the retreat.
I have always enjoyed traveling to different countries around the world. My mother has constantly traveled for almost her entire life. Still to this day, I’ll get a call from her surprisingly telling me that she is in Israel or New Zealand. Just like her, I have traveled to over 15 countries around 4 different continents. My mother has most of her family in Peru so a trip there occurs at least once per year. I am looking forward to studying abroad in Alcalá, Spain in the spring of 2018. I have traveled to Spain a few times before and would consider it my favorite country so I cannot wait to experience living there.
